2012-10-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — Focusing on the Brazilian market, Alexandre de Juniac, Chairman and CEO of Air France, was in the country on October 17th to visit the local company operations, in addition to meeting partner companies.
On this occasion, the CEO took the opportunity to discuss possible network developments such as the introduction of A380 aircraft in Sao Paulo in 2014. In Rio de Janeiro, he visited the AF 447 memorial.
Alexandre de Juniac declared: “I’m delighted to visit Brazil for my first trip as Air France CEO on the Latin American continent”. He added: “Air France has been continuously present on this strategic market for nearly sixty years and our ambition is to accompany Brazil in its economic growth by offering innovative products and excellent services”.
Alexandre de Juniac is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique de Paris and the Ecole Nationale de l’Administration. He was SVP in charge of the Aviation Systems division at Thales, General Manager for Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America at Thales and Private Secretary to Christine Lagarde, French Minister of the Economy, Industry and Employment and began his activities at Air France in 2011.
