CAA Headquarters relocates to Aviation House located just outside of Gatwick Airport

LONDON, UK, 2019-Aug-20 — /Travel PR News/ — Following the relocation of our central London office from Holborn to Canary Wharf, our official corporate headquarters is now Aviation House located just outside of Gatwick Airport. The official registered address is Aviation House, Beehive Ring Road, Crawley, West Sussex RH6 0YR.

Our building on Kingsway in Holborn, known as CAA House, had been our official headquarters for 30 years. We had previously shared this building, as well as the adjoining circular tower at 1 Kemble Street, with national air traffic control. Following the privatisation of air traffic control in 2001, the newly created company, NATS, moved to Hampshire, leaving the CAA to continue occupying the Kingsway building.

As our contract on this building expires in 2019 the decision was made to move to a smaller London office in Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf. That move was completed in July 2019.

Aviation House has been home to our safety and licensing functions for many years, with around three-quarters of all CAA employees based there. This building will therefore become our new official headquarters. All general enquiries should be addressed to Aviation House.
