Travel Alberta: TINY TITANS: Dinosaur Eggs and Babies exhibition at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum from February 28 until August 2016

Wembley, Alberta, 2016-Feb-19 — /Travel PR News/ —  The first major new exhibit to arrive in 2016 at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum, called TINY TITANS: Dinosaur Eggs and Babies, organized in association with Harvard Museum of Natural History, University of Tennessee and the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, Yale University. The exhibit will remain on display in the Rotary Special Exhibits Gallery from February 28 until August 2016.

Were dinosaurs social animals? Did they care for their young? What was life like for baby dinosaurs? These are just some of the questions this exhibit will answer. The museum offers a rare and exciting look at the life of dinosaurs through their eggs, nests and young in Tiny Titans: Dinosaur Eggs and Babies. This remarkable hands-on exhibition includes an amazing collection of dinosaur eggs and nests collected from all over the globe – including those of each of the major plant and meat-eating dinosaur groups.

Each science-rich section is enhanced with colourful illustrations of dinosaur family life. This multi-media experience helps give credence to long debated theories that dinosaurs and birds are closely related.

Tiny Titans is a captivating adventure for all ages. The overall philosophy of the Philip J Currie Dinosaur Museum is to ensure that scientific learning is as immersive and entertaining as possible. Children can play the paleontologist by putting a dinosaur bone back together and digging for dinosaur eggs in interactive dig pits or dress up and be a dinosaur parent protecting its nest of eggs. The museum enables visitors to get up close with life-like models of embryos and hatchlings while viewing stunning photographs and interviews featuring some of the world’s most renowned dinosaur hunters and their discoveries.
