SYDNEY, Australia, 2014-11-26 — /Travel PR News/ — Tourism Australia’s 11 Key Distribution Partners (KDPs) in Singapore are aligning upcoming sales and marketing activities around ‘Restaurant Australia’ themes, designed to put Australia as a top-of-mind holiday destination.
Over the next couple of months the KDPs will promote food and wine related events, new itineraries centred on self-drive touring in food and wine regions and ‘Restaurant Australia’ consumer competitions.
Members of the KDP program are a targeted group of travel agencies each highly committed to developing new and innovative Australian tourism products.
Tourism Australia and its state and territory tourism partners (STOs) will work closely with the KDPs to drive co-funded marketing activity through paid advertising, websites, social media and events and roadshows in order to increase the booking value of visitors to Australia.
In addition KDPs will take part in destination famils with training provided by Tourism Australia and STOs on how best to communicate Australia holiday experiences and relevant brand campaign materials.
Tourism Australia’s 11 KDP partners in Singapore are: Chan Brothers Travel, CheapTickets.sg, CTC Travel, Dynasty Travel, Farmosa Holiday Tours, Holiday Tours & Travel, Misa Travel, Pacific Arena, Scenic Travel, STA Travel and UOB Travel Planners.
