Langley, 2012-11-28 — /travelprnews.com/ — Travelport and Aviacenter, one of Russia’s leading consolidators, have today announced a new contract extending their relationship until at least 2015. As part of the deal, Aviacenter will use both Galileo Web Services and Travelport SmartPoint App™ to deliver a leading service to travel agents and the travelling public in Russia.
Moscow-based, Aviacenter, was founded in 2005 and has grown to become one of Russia’s largest travel consolidators with more than 280 sub agency locations across 53 Russian regions. Travelport has been working with, and supporting Aviacenter’s growth since 2009.
“We are very happy to be renewing our contract with Travelport as they have been excellent to work with over the past three years,” said Sergey Bogachev, General Manager, Aviacenter. “Travelport is able to bring us comprehensive content, leading technology, and a fundamental understanding of what we need to succeed.”
