SAS announces departure of its Executive Vice President and CCO, Karl Sandlund

Stockholm, Sweden, 2022-Apr-06 — /Travel PR News/ — Today (April 4, 2022), SAS Executive Vice President and CCO, Karl Sandlund announced that he will leave SAS for a new position outside the company.

“Karl has been at SAS since 2004 and it is with regret, I see him leave. He has been a key player in many different areas of the company for the past 18 years. Both from a personal and professional level I’m grateful for how Karl introduced me to SAS when I joined last year.  I am sure that his drive and passion for society is something his new company will value as well. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors”, says Anko van der Werff, President & CEO of SAS.

SAS will now start the recruitment process of his successor. Karl will leave the company   at the latest at the beginning of October.
