Rendezvous Hospitality Group Wins Two Awards For Website Design And Development

2012-10-25 — / — Rendezvous Hospitality Group (RHG) has been honoured with two awards for its newly designed website, recognising the highest standards in website design and development. The hotel group has been acknowledged with a Standard of Excellence award in the 2012 WebAwards and a Best in Class award at the Interactive Media Awards (IMA).

The new website comes as part of a rebranding initiative uniting Rendezvous Hotels and The Marque Hotels into one Rendezvous brand. During 2012 the portfolio of hotels has been undergoing rebranding to become Rendezvous Grand Hotels, Rendezvous Hotels and Rendezvous Studio Hotels.

In creating the new website, RHG partnered with TravelClick, a provider of revenue-generating solutions to hoteliers around the globe. TravelClick worked with RHG to create a unique hotel website designed to enhance user-experience and drive bookings.

The WebAward program is the longest running annual website award competition. The WebAward Competition is dedicated to naming the best websites in 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all website development. Websites are judged based on seven criteria including design, content, copywriting, innovation, and ease of use.

The IMAs honour individuals and organisations for outstanding achievement in an annual competition open to those involved in designing, developing, managing, supporting and promoting websites. Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc., a non-profit organisation of leading web designers and web-related professionals, entries are judged based on design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance/cross-browser compatibility.

The new-look website has a user-friendly interface to clearly introduce the new hotel brands.
