2012-12-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — In October, RAK Airways made history as the first UAE national carrier to operate domestic flights into the capital. The route has proved popular with passengers and so the airline has made the decision to fly daily effective 11 December 2012.
Says Mr. John Brayford, CEO of RAK Airways, ‘We believe in offering our customers choice and believe it is appropriate to go ahead and expand Abu Dhabi service to a daily flight, something we promised when we launched in October 2012.’
‘RAK Airways has carried over 300,000 passengers so far this year which is an increase of 47% over 2011. The airline’s business plan shows a steady growth path for the next five years building a network around the hub in Ras Al Khaimah offering easy connections, a smooth transition through the normal formalities and a high standard of personal service to our customers.’
