Manila, Philippines, 2013-11-15 — /travelprnews.com/ — Philippine Airlines, Inc. (PAL) and the Philippine Airlines Employees’ Association (PALEA) are happy to announce that they have finally settled a dispute over an outsourcing program implemented in September 2011.
Upon the signing of the Agreement, PAL will start the processing of applications for re-employment of covered PALEA members. Following a consistent and fair assessment process, PALEA members who meet PAL’s qualifications and hiring requirements will be re-hired for available job openings.
PAL and PALEA re-affirm their commitment to a harmonious labor-management relationship as a key factor in providing total customer satisfaction.
PAL calls on its investors, stakeholders and customers to support the flag carrier’s efforts to realize its vision of becoming one of the region’s leading global carriers. For its part, PALEA would like to express their gratitude to their families and supporters over the past few years.
