Nebraska Tourism Commission to host town hall meetings ahead of National Travel and Tourism Week

LINCOLN, Neb., 2016-Apr-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Just ahead of National Travel and Tourism Week, the Nebraska Tourism Commission will host town hall meetings in eight different Nebraska communities.

“With the beginning of summer travel, the 2016 Nebraska Passport Program launch and Travel and Tourism Week, the month of May is a very exciting time for our industry. Ahead of that very exciting time, the Commission would like to provide an update on current tourism projects and goals, as well as celebrate the success of our industry, hear public support and learn more from industry members,” said Kathy McKillip, Nebraska Tourism Commission Executive Director.

Tourism is Nebraska’s third largest industry. McKillip said the meeting locations will highlight just a few of the great areas to visit in Nebraska. The town hall meetings are open to the public and should last about an hour.
