(NEWS) TORONTO, Canada, 2026-May-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Luxury hospitality brands are continuing to expand beyond traditional hotel stays and deeper into experience-driven travel, with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts unveiling new itineraries for its Private Jet Experience programme scheduled for 2028.

According to a press release published by Four Seasons, the company will reintroduce its Uncharted Discovery and New World Icons journeys with updated routes designed around newly opening Four Seasons properties and a growing demand for longer, highly curated international travel experiences.

The announcement reflects how luxury travel operators are increasingly focusing on multi-destination itineraries that combine exclusive access, cultural immersion, and private aviation within a single product. In the case of Four Seasons, the journeys are built around the company’s expanding global portfolio, using new hotel openings as anchors for wider regional experiences.

One of the key additions to the 2028 programme is Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena, which will feature as part of the updated Uncharted Discovery itinerary. Scheduled to run from January 24 to February 13, 2028, the journey combines destinations across North America, Latin America, and Antarctica.

The itinerary begins in Los Angeles before continuing through Tamarindo in Mexico, Peru’s Machu Picchu and Cusco, Buenos Aires, and a four-night Antarctic cruise experience. From there, travellers will continue to Cartagena, where the programme focuses on the city’s architecture, culinary scene, and cultural heritage, before concluding in Puerto Rico at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico.

The second major itinerary, New World Icons, will operate from March 1 to March 20, 2028 and includes the return of Venice as a featured destination following strong interest in earlier programmes. Guests will stay at Danieli Venezia A Four Seasons Hotel, the historic Venice property set to reopen later this year under the Four Seasons portfolio.

The route combines several destinations frequently associated with high-end experiential travel, including Hong Kong, Langkawi, Jaipur, the Dolomites, Iceland’s Blue Lagoon, Anguilla, and Los Cabos at Cabo Del Sol. Activities planned across the itinerary include mangrove kayaking in Malaysia, cultural experiences in India, alpine exploration in northern Italy, and geothermal wellness experiences in Iceland.

Both journeys will be operated aboard the custom-configured Airbus A321neo-LR used for the Four Seasons Private Jet Experience programme. The aircraft accommodates 48 travellers and includes an onboard team featuring a concierge, executive chef, and physician, reflecting the company’s emphasis on highly personalized service throughout the trip.

The expansion of private jet itineraries comes amid continued growth in the ultra-luxury travel segment, where travellers are increasingly prioritizing convenience, exclusivity, and access to remote or logistically complex destinations. Rather than focusing solely on accommodation, hospitality groups are increasingly positioning themselves as full-service travel providers capable of designing end-to-end journeys.

The itineraries also reinforce a broader trend within luxury tourism toward smaller group experiences and slower, multi-week travel programmes that combine well-known global landmarks with less conventional destinations.

In addition to the 2028 launches, Four Seasons noted that several 2027 itineraries are already approaching capacity, including journeys focused on Africa, the Galápagos, Easter Island, Petra, and the Seychelles — further reflecting sustained demand within the premium experiential travel market.

The Four Seasons Private Jet Experience is operated through a partnership with TCS World Travel, while flights are operated by Titan Airways.
