Available at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, the exclusive hair and scalp service will offer the luxury cosmetic brand’s own customised anti-aging haircare rituals, blowouts and express treatments, using its products.
Each Miriam Quevedo Exclusive Anti-aging Haircare Ritual includes a complete hair and scalp analysis, using an iMicro-camera, to assess each guest’s exact needs. The camera allows the expert technician, trained in trichology by Miriam Quevedo herself, to take a magnified view of the hair and scalp which can also be viewed by the client using a tablet. The technician measures seven points including hair loss status, scalp status, hair density, keratin of scalp, exposure of scalp’s vessels, hair thickness and hair pore status. Following the analysis a customised ritual will be selected using products formulated with potent vitamins, cutting-edge peptides, botanicals and other precious ingredients to address the specific needs of each client, repair damage and restore youthful radiance to hair.
The relaxing experience combines a pre-treatment scrub, cleansing and transformation (mask, oil, and shock treatment) with a scalp, neck, arm and shoulder massage. Finishing protection and professional blowout for a perfectly styed look completes each ritual.
In addition to the full ritual, the Spa also has a selection of 20-minute express treatments by Miriam Quevedo that guests can enjoy while having a facial or massage. Each treatment is customised depending on hair type, from the Golden Opulene, ideal for normal-to-thick hair to the Diamon Decadence, specially designed for those with normal-to-fine hair. Finally, an Eybrow Rejuvenating Treatment is also available to give eyebrows fullness and lustre followed by a make-up application to fill and shape eyebrows.
Guests can also enjoy a professional Blowout or updo using a Miriam Quevedo treatment shampoo and mask. A selection of styling products is used to ensure finishing protection and lasting hold.
In addition to The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, Miriam Quevedo’s face and body products are also available in the hotel’s guest rooms. The Extreme Caviar Amenities Collection includes a Shampoo, a Conditioner, a Revitalizing Shower Gel, a Soothing Body Milk, a Soap Bar and Bath Salts.
