National Geographic photographer James Balog will be on-hand to discuss his personal experiences in the making of the film.

Chasing Ice is the story of National Geographic photographer James Balog’s mission to the Arctic to gather photographic evidence of our changing planet. Battling untested technology in subzero conditions, he comes face to face with his own mortality. His hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion. Chasing Ice depicts a photographer trying to deliver evidence and hope to our carbon-powered planet. Learn more about the film and view the trailer at: www.chasingice.com.

Nuts on Clark, a local concessionaire at O’Hare and Midway International Airports, will provide gourmet popcorn during the screening.
