London City Airport Most Punctual In the UK

2013-03-25 — /travelprnews.com/ — London City Airport is the most punctual airport in the UK, according to figures published by the Civil Aviation Authority [CAA].

The data, which measures flights during October to December 2012, shows that 87 per cent of flights were on time at LCY, the only airport actually in London.

LCY also had the shortest average delay at just eight minutes – 25 per cent lower than that national average.

The average on-time figure across all UK airports was 79 per cent and the average delay was 12 minutes.
