2012-09-26 — /travelprnews.com/ — Work is underway on the Kansas City International Airport Terminal A loop road, which may impact Air Canada, United (Chicago, Denver, San Francisco & Washington-Dulles) and US Airways customers. The project involves milling, some full-depth repairs, paving striping, and curb repairs. This work will require the closure of some traffic lanes and access to some areas of the terminal curb and commercial medians. Also closed are stairways, exits and crosswalks to and from the garage.

To minimize inconvenience to customers, work that requires terminal curb closure will be done in large sections during off-peak times and on weekends. At times traffic may be congested. KCI Airport users are urged to allow extra time and patience when using the airport during this time. Signs, KCI Airport Police and other personnel will be on hand to aid and direct customers. To go to and from the garage customers can use the tunnels at the lower level of the garage. The $920,000 project should take six weeks to complete.
