Jon Loeffelholz appointed new General Manager to oversee five Oakwood properties in Japan

SINGAPORE, 2016-Jun-03 — /Travel PR News/ — Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd., which manages the finest serviced apartments for business and leisure travelers, announced the appointment of Jon Loeffelholz as the new General Manager to oversee five Oakwood properties in Japan.

In his new role, Loeffelholz will oversee the running of Oakwood Residence Akasaka, Oakwood Residence Aoyama, Oakwood Apartments Ariake, Oakwood Apartments Shirokane and Oakwood Apartments Roppongi Central.

Loeffelholz comes with a strong background in sales and marketing and an extensive knowledge of the Japanese market as he spent most of his career in Japan in cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, Okinawa, and Sapporo. He also has worked throughout Thailand, Singapore and Guam. Loeffelholz’s most recent role saw him as a hospitality consultant for a varied range of areas, drawing on his diverse experience in a multitude of other hospitality roles. Prior to this, Loeffelholz was with the Capital Servicing Group where he served as director of sales and marketing of the Hospitality division of more than 3,000 rooms across Japan and Guam before moving on to manage the hospitality assets of the group’s Real Estate Investment arm. He has also worked for the Nagoya Kanoko Hotel and the Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel and Towers.

An American, Jon Loeffelholz is a graduate from the University of Hawaii, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies, as well as a French Culinary Degree from Le Cordon Bleu.
