Iberia, the Spanish UNICEF Committee and Amadeus raised more than 350,000 euros in small donations by Iberia customers
MADRID, 2015-8-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Iberia, the Spanish UNICEF Committee and Amadeus, the travel reservations system, have raised more tan 350,000 euros in small donations by Iberia customers booking their tickets online.
A platform developed by Amadeus enables customers to make donations of between three and 20 euros to UNICEF when they buy flight tickets on iberia.com.
Since the programme began in November 2013, more tan 72,000 donations have been made, adding up to 350,000 euros. The donations go in their entirety to UNICEF’s ‘100% Vaccinated Children’ programme, aimed at vaccinating children in the most remote regions of the world, and at eradicating polio and other infectious diseases in eight countries where vaccination rates are currently very low
