Celebrated American violin virtuoso Elizabeth Pitcairn to play the famed Stradivarius; Opus One to share its outstanding wines; all who attend will savour a menu tracing the violin’s past.
Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea will bring these two extraordinary elements together at a one-time performance by Elizabeth Pitcairn, the celebrated American violinist who owns the Red Violin, with a special gastronomic menu tracing the violin’s travels and history across centuries. Opus One will feature a selection of prized vintages to complement each course. This Unforgettable Event, one of a series of the Resort’s connoisseur programs, will take place on December 7, 2012 as part of the Wailea Wine & Food Festival in Maui (December 6-9).

The Red Violin Opus One Wine Event is priced at USD 795.00 per person and includes an Ocean-View Room. Pre and post event room rates are specially priced at USD 295.00.
