Michaelyn Bradford joins the Four Seasons Dallas team as TPC head golf professional, only female head pro in the TPC network

Dallas, U.S.A., 2018-Jul-20 — /Travel PR News/ — When you know you’ve found the right person for the job, the stars align for the individual and the company.  Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas announces Michaelyn Bradford as the new Head Golf Professional at TPC Four Seasons, and the only female head professional in the entire TPC network of PGA-TOUR approved golf courses.

Bradford takes on the responsibilities of overseeing the day-to-day happenings on the TPC Four Seasons 18-hole golf course, engagement with hotel guests playing on the course so they have the best golf experience possible and oversight of the golf reception operation.  When it comes to golf, Michaelyn strives to make sure all hotel guests and private club members enjoy each moment they spend playing their round of golf.

With more than 13 years of golf industry experience, Michaelyn is breaking through the “grass” ceiling, having worked hard to get where she is today in a predominantly male driven industry.  Bradford’s golf journey began at TPC Craig Ranch where she worked part time in operations learning about the various duties at a golf club.  She then took on a bulk of her experience when she moved to Memphis as the assistant head golf professional and later head golf professional at TPC Southwind for ten years.  Having a degree in marketing and wanting to experience the business side of golf, she took on the membership director role at the prestigious Crescent Club in Memphis for two years.

Michaelyn’s love and passion for golf began around the age of five when her father encouraged her to pick up a club.  With a nine-iron and a putter, she went out and just enjoyed time with her dad.  “I remember my dad always being supportive of me playing golf, but was never too pushy about it,” says Bradford. “He just loved that both of his daughters enjoyed a sport he loved playing as well.”  Practice certainly paid off.  The Austinite won the 4A High School State Championship in Golf her senior year and went on a full golf scholarship ride to Baylor University.

“My hope is that I can inspire more females to come out and enjoy the game of golf and not be afraid to step foot in this male dominated industry,” says Bradford.  “Young girls, teens and women can work just as hard, enjoy it just as much and be really good at golf, as long as they set their minds to it.”

Just watch out guys: Michaelyn can drive the golf ball 325 yards, no doubt because of her dedication and passion for the love of golf.

Michaelyn is available for private golf instruction for individuals staying at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas.  USD 70 for a 30 minute lesson and USD 150 for a 50 minute lesson.  For reservations, call the Pro Shop at 972 717 2530.
