Four Seasons Hotel Singapore Appoints Austin Watkins as Director of Marketing

2013-01-11 — /travelprnews.com/ — A seasoned marketing veteran who joinedFour Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 2003 at the former Four Seasons Hotel Newport Beach, Austin Watkins is the newly appointed Director of Marketing at Four SeasonsHotel Singapore.

Prior to his recent arrival in Singapore, Watkins was atFour Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, where he was Director of Sales and Marketing since 2010. Previous stints in the company included two years in Four Seasons Resort Whistler in British Columbia and four years atFour Seasons Hotel San Francisco.

Watkins’ passion for the hospitality industry started in high school. This subsequently led to more than two decades of assignments spanning valet parking, housekeeping, front office and food and beverage departments in Hawaii, Las Vegas, Canada and California.

An avid golfer who enjoys surfing, snowboarding and soccer, Watkins also delights in experimenting with recipes in his kitchen. A native of Orange County, California, Watkins is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and is joined in Singapore by his wife Sonia and infant son Taran.
