Different Pointe of View Restaurant Brings California Winemakers to Exclusive Dinner Series

Through May, guests can enjoy culinary delights of Different Pointe of View and some of the finest wines of California during the Insider’s View dinners while enjoying a weekend in the desert.
The AAA Four Diamond Award Different Pointe of View and Executive Chef, Anthony DeMuro, hosts the intimate Insider’s View dinner once a month, which features four courses prepared tableside for the dozen guests. A featured vineyard’s winemaker joins the culinary experience, sharing stories of managing vineyards, the wine making process and tips for pairings. Guests have the opportunity to interact with Chef DeMuro and the vineyard winemaker for a true insider’s view.
Each evening begins with a 6:15 p.m. reception in the Terrace Room and proceeds to the main dining room with ceiling to floor glass windows, showcasing the spectacular panoramic view of the city of Phoenix and Sonoran desert.
Upcoming Insider’s View dinners and their featured guests include:
February 22: Lyeth Estate: Winemaker Katie Cochrane of the Sonoma County winery Lyeth Estate joins the Insider’s View dinner series. Lyeth Estate creates wines from blends of different tastes to craft wines with distinctive flavors and characteristics.
Mar 15: St. Supéry Vineyards: Michael Scholz, winemaker at St. Supéry Vineyards, will share information on the Napa Valley’s three tiers of wine that include fruit-forward wines, Bordeaux blends and Sauvignon Blanc.
April 26: Martin Ray Winery: Bill Batchelor is the winemaker at this historic Santa Rosa, Calif. winery. The site of Martin Ray Winery is known as Twin Fir Winery, the oldest winery in continuous operation in Sonoma County.
May 17: Roth Estate Winery: Jesse Katz, winemaker at this award-winning Sonoma County vineyard, returns to the Insider’s View dinner. Roth Estate Winery is most famous for its classic Bordeaux varietals.
Reservations for the Insider’s View dinners are required and limited to a dozen. The cost for this exclusive and unique event is $99 per person.
With spring room rates starting from $160, guests can make a weekend of the dinner series.
