Emirates named ‘Best Airline – Business’ and ‘Best Airline – Leisure’ at the prestigious 2013 Condé Nast Middle East Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards

Dubai, UAE, 2013-12-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — Emirates was honoured with ‘Best Airline – Business’ and ‘Best Airline – Leisure’ at the prestigious 2013 Condé Nast Middle East Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards.

Presented at the launch of the magazine’s Middle East edition, Emirates won twin acclaim by readers for both its quality service and product tailored to meet needs of the business traveller, while also being recognised by leisure travellers as their preferred airline.

Emirates also garnered other industry awards this month, including ‘Airline of the Year” at the Aviation Business Awards ceremony held in Dubai, as well as at the World Travel Awards in Doha where it was took home gongs for the World’s Leading Airline Lounge – First Class (Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport) and World’s Leading Airline Rewards Programme for Emirates Skywards.

These prestigious industry accolades speak to Emirates’ on-going commitment to excellence and innovation across its different areas of business. During the past twelve months, Emirates has continued to deliver a high level of service performance, even while introducing new routes and inducting over 20 new aircraft into its fleet.

In 2013, Emirates has launched new routes to Warsaw, Algiers, Tokyo Haneda, Stockholm, a new trans-Atlantic service from New York to Milan, Clark International in the Philippines, Conakry in Guinea, Sialkot in Pakistan and commenced its service to Kabul in Afghanistan on 04 December. In 2014, Emirates will inaugurate its operations in three new destinations: Kiev, Taipei and Boston.

Emirates’ fleet of modern aircraft has now grown to 210 aircraft flying to 138 destinations, including the world’s largest Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 fleet.
