CDA welcomes Cape Air’s inaugural flight between Decatur, IL and chicago

Chicago, IL, 2018-Feb-19 — /Travel PR News/ — The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) is pleased to announce that Cape Air will begin serving Decatur, IL from Chicago beginning today. From Decatur, Cape Air will operate daily, year-round flights to both Chicago O’Hare International and Decatur Airports.

  • Decatur (DEC) – Chicago (ORD): 4 daily, round-trip flights Monday-Friday
  • Decatur (DEC) – Chicago (ORD): 2 daily, round-trip flights Saturday-Sunday

The service will be operated on a nine-seat, twin-engine Cessna aircraft.

 “We are pleased to welcome Cape Air to Chicago through the Essential Air Service program,” said CDA Commissioner Ginger S. Evans. “All new air service improves connectivity for Chicago O’Hare, providing more choices for travelers around the state of Illinois and throughout the world.””

Cape Air’s ticketing desk and gate are located in Terminal 3 at O’Hare.

The service will be operated on a nine-seat, twin-engine Cessna aircraft.
