Brown’s Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Mayfair marks the arrival of spring with virtual, interactive flower arranging workshop

in partnership with Mayfair’s leading florist, Ellie Hartley, and JING Tea

London, UK, 2021-Mar-04 — /Travel PR News/ — Brown’s Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Mayfair, is delighted to launch a ‘Spring Sensations Masterclass’ with Mayfair’s leading florist Ellie Hartley, and the hotel’s official tea partner, JING Tea. Designed to stimulate the senses this spring, on Saturday 20th March 2021, budding florists can try their hand at the art of flower arranging in the comfort of their own home. Guests will revel in the fragrance of fresh flowers that have been perfectly matched with a JING single garden tea selection that they will both taste and learn about.

To mark the much-awaited arrival of spring, the flower arranging experience has been tailored for all budding florists regardless of experience. Ellie Hartley will host the virtual, interactive workshop guiding guests on how to master the art of preparing and arranging a variety of fragrant, seasonal flowers.

To further heighten the senses, the workshop will be accompanied by a tea tasting hosted by tea experts, JING. JING delivers distinctive teas sourced from single gardens and artisan producers that wow the senses and enable the tea makers and their lands to thrive. The brand’s Head of Tea Experience, Felicity Fowler, will give a virtual tea tasting that will transport guests to the Asian origins of these characterful teas and she will demonstrate how to make the perfect cup of tea, simply at home.

The experience is not complete without the award-winning Afternoon Tea, for which Brown’s Hotel is famous, which will be delivered to the aspiring florists’ doorsteps with a selection of freshly baked scones, delectable sweets and savoury delights.

Quaint glass vases will arrive full of delicate jasmine, beautiful camellia and scented garden roses, which have each been chosen to bring to life elements of the JING teas that will be enjoyed. Over the course of an afternoon, guests will explore the craft of floral arranging and discover the intriguing stories and origins behind their favourite teas.

In support of International Women’s Day (8th March 2021), Brown’s Hotel will donate 5% of the ticket price to female-focused charity, DRESS FOR SUCCESS, a non-profit organisation that helps women thrive in work and in life.

The ‘Spring Sensations Masterclass’ includes:
