#BitesAtBWI event showcased the wide variety of restaurants at BWI Marshall Airport

Baltimore, MD, 2020-Jan-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Dozens of area foodie bloggers and social media personalities sampled offerings from 11 BWI Marshall Airport restaurants on Thursday evening. The #BitesAtBWI event showcased the wide variety of restaurants at BWI Marshall Airport.

Executive Chef Ype Von Hengst of Silver Diner served as guest host of the event. Chef Ype and BWI Marshall Airport Executive Director Ricky Smith delivered introductory remarks and mingled with attendees throughout the evening. In the coming days, attendees will share their experiences in a series of blog and social media posts using the hashtag #BitesAtBWI.

Event attendees were also asked to nominate 3 favorites in 3 distinct categories (Best Bites at BWI, Best Presentation, Best Maryland Dish). Awards were handed out to the winners of each category.

  • Best Maryland Dish: Flying Dog Tap House Crab Cake
  • Best Presentation: Gachi House of Sushi Southwest Roll
  • Best Bites at BWI (overall excellence): Sky Azure
