The integrated PR, marketing and social media agency will lead the development and implementation of a communications strategy to position Australia as a highly desirable, must-visit destination as Brits eagerly await the reopening of the country’s borders following two years of travel restrictions due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Tapping into the shared cultural ties between Australia and the UK while shaping perceptions of the Australian holiday, the agency will support Tourism Australia’s mission to engage and convert key target audiences in the UK, creating bespoke campaigns and initiatives to support broader marketing activities in the market.
With an emphasis on creative activations and innovative content-led campaigns, One Green Bean will collaborate closely with the London-based Tourism Australia team to support the organisation’s vision to become the most memorable and desirable destination on earth. In 2019, the UK was Australia’s fourth largest market for international visitation with more than 700,000 Brits making the journey Down Under for a holiday.
One Green Bean’s Business Director and travel communications specialist, Sarah Barnett, will lead the account with an experienced team supporting.
