Holiday Out with Thomas Starts December 8

SANTA CRUZ, CA – 2012-11-29 — /travelprnews.com/ — Roaring Camp Railroads and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk announced the return of Thomas the Tank Engine for a special holiday event – Holiday Out With Thomas.  The popular storybook engine, chugs into the Boardwalk on December 8, 2012.

The Holiday Out With Thomas event includes a twenty-five minute train ride led by a 15 ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine, decorated for the holidays and ready to greet Thomas fans. Festivities also include a spin on the Boardwalk’s 100-year old Looff Carousel; face painting; a “make and take” Thomas ornament; a choice of arcade tokens, mini golf or laser tag; and photo opportunities with Holiday Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway. Thomas & Friends merchandise will also be on sale.

  • Holiday Out With Thomas tickets are $24.00 per person, ages 2 and up
  • Train departs from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Ticket price includes a twenty-five minute round-trip Thomas train ride departing from the Boardwalk featuring interactions with Santa and his elves, candy canes, holiday carols and a souvenir song book, as well as face painting, a “make and take” Thomas ornament, a Carousel ride, plus a choice of arcade tokens, laser tag, or mini-golf on the Boardwalk.
