The talented international soprano Karen August Schriesheim will perform at Kempinski Hotel Bahía on 21 February

Estepona, Spain, 2019-Feb-15 — /Travel PR News/ — Kempinski Hotel Bahía is delighted to welcome the talented international soprano Karen August Schriesheim from the USA, who will perform at the hotel on 21 February.

American soprano Karen August Schriesheim grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where she was introduced to classical music by the Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Passionate about opera, oratorio and art song repertoire, Karen was recently a semi-finalist in the Froville International Baroque Singing Competition, and will appear in a rare performance of Handel’s “Arcadian Duets”. She recently competed in the highly selective inaugural International Haydn Song and Aria Competition. She has appeared at the Berlin Festival of Song every year since its inception, and has performed at the London-based Spanish and Zarzuela Festival at the Milton Court Concert Hall. She has been a young artist at the Castleton Festival, the Miami Summer Music Festival and the Berlin Opera Academy.

Karen’s repertoire for her concert will include Handel and Bach, as well as musical theatre songs like “I Feel Pretty”, “If I Loved You” and “I could Have Danced All Night”. Karen will perform at Kempinski Hotel Bahía on 21 February at 19:30, hosted in the Arts Foyer on Floor 4. Tickets cost EUR 25 or EUR 65 including a set menu pre- or post-concert at Baltazar Bar & Grill. Spaces are limited. Entry includes a pre-concert welcome drink.
