The HR Team at Brown’s Hotel are proud winners of the SME HR Initiative of the Year Award

2012-10-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — We are pleased to announce that Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel was last night awarded the ‘SME HR initiative of the year Award’ (for small and medium enterprises), at the 2012 CIPD People Management Awards.  Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel prides itself on its unrivalled service and wanted a training programme to reflect this.  In 2011, the HR team at Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel, headed up by Tristan Knight, launched several new training initiatives to train, enthuse and retain staff at different levels.

The Nourish Leadership Development programme was created for managers, to develop their skills and provide them with a valuable HR toolkit and a relevant qualification to motivate them to meet business objectives.  Junior and Assistant Managers attended The Discovery programme to develop vital management skills whilst retaining them in the business and earmarking them for succession.  The HR team also initiated an Unrivalled Customer service programme to give team members the opportunity to learn new skills and gain an NVQ Certificate in Customer Service.
