LONDON, 2018-Mar-22 — /Travel PR News/ — Renowned Swedish design brand kikki.K has opened its first European airport store at London Gatwick, allowing passengers the opportunity to bring the brand’s distinctive range of stylish stationery with them as they jet off across the globe.

The multi award-winning retailer, founded in Australia by Swedish-born entrepreneur Kristina Karlsson, has opened the 25sqm Little Boutique store – featuring the brand’s unique ‘kiosk-style’ store design – in the airport’s North Terminal.

Passionate about creating beautiful Swedish design that inspires and empowers people to live their best life every day, kikki.K offers a broad range of products from their Energise Your LifeOwn Your Story and Inspiration Collections at the Gatwick store, including the brand’s much-loved journals, gifts, accessories and greeting cards.

As they await their flight, passengers can also make sure they’re travel-ready with kikki.K’s The World Is Waiting Travel Collection. Featuring gorgeous leather passport holders, luggage tags and travel wallets, as well as inspiring travel journals to help capture and treasure every holiday moment, this essential collection is available in full at kikki.K Gatwick.

Plus, to add a more personal touch, products can be monogrammed for passengers in store – and pre-flight shoppers don’t have to worry about fitting purchases into their hand luggage, as Gatwick’s “carry on-board” service allows them to bring a kikki.K shopping bag onto their flight alongside the pre-existing hand luggage allowance.

kikki.K Gatwick is the retailer’s sixth stand-alone UK store, and follows the launch of its flagship Covent Garden outlet in December 2015. The global brand, created by Karlsson at her home in 2001 after a 3am brainwave, has also opened boutiques in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Kristina Karlsson, Founder, kikki.K said:

“It’s so exciting to see more and more of the UK fall in love with kikki.K, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be sharing our products with guests in Gatwick Airport’s North Terminal. As one of London’s busiest airport terminals, Gatwick is an ideal location for a kikki.K Little Boutique. Travellers can enjoy our world-class guest experience, and shop our gorgeous range of curated travel accessories, stationery and gifts for friends and family.”

Rachel Bulford, Head of Retail, Gatwick Airport said:

We’re very excited that kikki.K has chosen Gatwick as the home of its first ever airport boutique in Europe. As a distinctively high-quality design brand with a global following, kikki.K fits in perfectly with the wealth of quality retailers in Gatwick’s busy international departure lounge, and our passengers can expect a one-of-a-kind experience in this fabulous new boutique as they visit Gatwick in the weeks and months to come.
