“We are excited to once again welcome added service from Spirit Airlines,” said Paul J. Wiedefeld, Executive Director of BWI Marshall Airport.  “The new flights will offer more convenience, flexibility, and low fares to a popular destination.”

“Las Vegas is a popular destination from PHL, and we are very pleased that our travelers will have Spirit Airlines as a choice for flying to there from Philadelphia,” said Philadelphia Airport CEO Mark Gale. “Las Vegas is the second city Spirit has added to its upcoming PHL schedule in the past two weeks alone, and we are excited about Spirit’s arrival in April.”

“Spirit’s plan to bring more nonstop service from two well-established East Coast markets is a welcome development,” said Rosemary Vassiliadis, Deputy Director of Aviation for Clark County, Nevada, which owns and operates McCarran International Airport. “Baltimore/Washington and Philadelphia International already rank among our Top 20 feeder airports, combining to send approximately 1,300 travelers per day to Las Vegas in recent weeks. We’re confident Spirit’s entry will help to grow that number by providing travelers in those areas with more options when selecting their flights to and from Las Vegas.”

“We are thrilled to welcome additional service from both Baltimore and Philadelphia through our partnership with Spirit Airlines,” said Cathy Tull, Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “Every new destination that is added to the schedule provides additional convenience and flexibility for travelers. With record visitation to Las Vegas in 2012, every new seat provides opportunity for continued growth.”
