Sheremetyevo terminates provision of services to Aerosvit Airlines

Passengers shall directly address to the Airlines

2012-12-11 — /travelprnews.com/ — Aerosvit’s total debt owed to JSC “MASH”, TZK Sheremetyevo and AeroMASH-Aviation Security CJSC exceeds 165,500,000 roubles

Sheremetyevo International Airport notifies its passengers and commercial partners that servicing of Aerosvit Airlines’ flights will be terminated after 00.00 MSK of December 11, 2012. This is due to Aerosvit Airlines’ default in the performance of its obligations to pay for airport services and ground handling operations provided by JSC Sheremetyevo International Airport.

As agreed between the Airlines and the Airport, servicing of Aerosvit Airlines’ flights scheduled from Sheremetyevo Airport during the current date of December 10, 2012 will be provided to the full extent. Services for passengers of today’s flights will also be provided in full.

After 00.00 MSK of December 11, 2012 the Aerosvit Airlines’ arriving and departing flights will not be serviced (starting from the flight VV 451 00.20 Kiev-Borispol — Moscow-Sheremetyevo). Passengers shall directly address to the Airlines.

During the first day of the flight closedown, i.e. on December 11, 2012 Sheremetyevo International Airport will render necessary assistance to passengers in organizing their departure. Aeroflot Company will provide for departure of passengers of Aerosvit’s codeshare flights who have Aeroflot’s tickets.

From December 12 onwards, passengers of Aerosvit Airlines who have not processed a ticket refund procedure with the Airlines, should resolve all arising problems individually by addressing directly to the Airlines. Aerosvit Airlines is ultimately responsible for all possible consequences affecting passengers.

Aerosvit Airlines deceives its passengers, partners and aviation authorities, when it makes declarations through the Ukrainian media stating that the situation is stable and the debts owed to the Airport are settled. In fact, Aerosvit Airlines continues non-payment practices and violates the Debt Restructuring Schedule. The Airlines’s total debt owed to JSC Sheremetyevo International Airport, TZK Sheremetyevo and AeroMASH-Aviation Security CJSC exceeds 165,500,000 roubles. In particular, Aerosvit Airlines’s debt owed to TZK Sheremetyevo for aviation fuel and refueling services amounts to more than 60,000,000 roubles.

On December 7, 2012 JSC “MASH” filed a debt claim against Aerosvit Airlines with the Arbitration Court of Moscow Region.
