Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Opens Its Shores to Cruise Guests in Nassau

(NEWS) MIAMI, FL, 2026-Jan-7 — /Travel PR News/ — Royal Caribbean has officially opened Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, unveiling a new kind of all-inclusive beach experience for cruise guests visiting Nassau. The destination welcomed its first vacationers on December 23, marking the debut of what the cruise line describes as a first-of-its-kind beach club that blends Bahamian culture with Royal Caribbean’s signature approach to curated, experience-led travel.

According to details shared by the company, the opening follows an official ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Bahamian government officials, community members, and Royal Caribbean executives, celebrating a development journey that began when construction broke ground in April 2024. Guests visiting Nassau can now purchase all-inclusive day passes directly through Royal Caribbean, granting access to transportation, dining, amenities, and a range of beach and pool experiences designed to suit families, social travelers, and those seeking a more relaxed escape.

The beach club spans two beaches and three distinct pool areas, each offering a different atmosphere. These range from family-friendly spaces such as The Shallow End, to laid-back lounging at The Deep End, and high-energy socializing at Party Cove, home to The Floating Flamingo, billed as the world’s largest swim-up bar. Unlimited dining is central to the experience, with multiple beach grills and waterfront bars, complemented by live music, artisan huts, and locally inspired entertainment woven throughout the property.

Royal Caribbean says the destination was shaped directly by guest feedback, with flexibility and ease at the core of the experience. Everything from lounge chairs and umbrellas to towels, lockers, Wi-Fi, and round-trip ferry transportation is included, allowing visitors to focus on enjoying the day rather than logistics. For families, highlights include the Ultimate Family Cabana, a two-level private space featuring a whirlpool, slide, frozen drink machine, and dedicated attendant service.

Beyond the guest experience, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island has been developed through a public-private partnership with the Bahamian government, positioning it as both a tourism offering and a community investment. As outlined in recent company updates, Bahamian influence is reflected across the destination’s design, entertainment, and culinary offerings, alongside the creation of hundreds of local jobs and opportunities for entrepreneurs.

That local focus is reinforced through the appointment of three Bahamian executives to the beach club’s leadership team. Alphonso Bowe has been named Director of Technical and Maintenance, Simmone Bowe joins as Director of Human Resources, and Jillian Gray has been appointed Head of Communications. Based on official information released by Royal Caribbean, the trio will play key roles in operational excellence, talent development, and community engagement, helping ensure the destination reflects Bahamian values while meeting global hospitality standards.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island becomes the latest addition to Royal Caribbean’s growing portfolio of private destinations in The Bahamas, joining Perfect Day at CocoCay. The company has also outlined future openings across the Royal Beach Club Collection, with locations planned for Cozumel and Santorini in 2026, followed by Lelepa in early 2027 and Perfect Day Mexico later that year, signaling an expanding strategy focused on destination-driven experiences beyond the ship.
