2013-03-26 — /travelprnews.com/ — Visitors to Christchurch will be able to see the rebuild of the city from its very heart when the centrally located Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch re-opens on May 1.
The Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch has 171 guest rooms and occupies levels 4 to 15 of the Pacific Tower building on Gloucester Street, opposite recently refurbished New Regent St.
It has been closed to the public since the February 2011 earthquake but with repairs on the building now complete it is ready once more to open its door to visitors.
Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch general manager Brad Watts says staff are excited about the hotel’s re-opening and looking forward to welcoming guests through the doors again.
“The hotel is looking fantastic and we’re thrilled to be in a position to re-open and again provide high quality accommodation within the city centre for people visiting either for business or for leisure,” Mr Watts says.
The hotel is now taking bookings from 1 May 2013 and for a limited time it is offering guests 10 per cent off the best available rate every day of the week as well as free internet connectivity and local telephone calls and discounted charges for other hotel services.
