In his engaging new book, McInerney presents an immersive true story of growth by thoughtful reaction and adaptability, and how we can all learn to embrace change for the better. Through his colourful tales he paints a journey that spans through time and continents as he paves the way to becoming a president and CEO of ITT Sheraton’s Franchise Division, Hawthorn Suites, Forte Hotels, the Pacific Asia Travel Association, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association, as well as his own McInerney Hospitality International LLC.

Throughout his career, McInerney has been a change agent – growing brands, creating earning streams, increasing profits, enhancing brand image, and significantly improving employee morale at the companies and associations he managed.

“Joe McInerney is not only one of the most sincere and kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, he’s completely genuine. You don’t need to work in the hospitality industry to enjoy his story, it’s a powerful and compassionate account of his life and career that leaves you touched and invigorated with inspiration,” said Keri Ribardiere, Book Division President at Charles Pinot.
