(IN SHORT) Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines are expanding their strategic partnership through additional codeshare routes and reciprocal loyalty programme benefits. Starting in June 2026, the airlines will connect travellers to more than 40 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the Philippines through expanded network integration. The partnership also enables Privilege Club and Mabuhay Miles members to earn and redeem points across both airlines’ networks, strengthening travel connectivity and customer benefits between the two carriers.

(PRESS RELEASE) DOHA, Qatar, 2026-May-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines are expanding their strategic partnership by broadening codeshare connectivity and integrating loyalty programme benefits across both airlines’ global networks.

The enhanced cooperation builds on the codeshare agreement initially launched in June 2025 and is designed to provide travellers with access to more than 40 additional destinations worldwide while improving connectivity between the Philippines, the Middle East, Europe and other international markets.

Beginning 1 June 2026, Philippine Airlines will place its PR code on Qatar Airways flights operating between Manila, Cebu City, Clark and Davao City and Doha. Through connections at Hamad International Airport, passengers will gain access to more than 20 European destinations including Paris, Rome and Frankfurt.

At the same time, Qatar Airways will add its QR code to selected domestic flights operated by Philippine Airlines, enabling smoother onward travel from Manila and Cebu to tourism destinations such as Caticlan and Puerto Princesa.

The partnership expansion also introduces reciprocal loyalty programme benefits between Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club and Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Miles programmes. Members of both schemes will now be able to earn and redeem points across the two airlines’ route networks.

According to Qatar Airways, the agreement marks the 26th airline partnership for Privilege Club and further strengthens the airline’s loyalty presence in Southeast Asia. Privilege Club members will be able to collect and spend Avios across Philippine Airlines routes serving destinations in Southeast Asia, Australasia, the United States and multiple cities throughout the Philippines.

Likewise, Mabuhay Miles members will gain access to Qatar Airways’ extensive international network spanning destinations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Philippine Airlines said the cooperation strengthens its regional presence and expands travel opportunities for its customers through Qatar Airways’ global connectivity.

The airlines also highlighted broader loyalty programme redemption opportunities beyond flights, including travel packages, upgrades, retail purchases, dining experiences and duty-free shopping.

Qatar Airways noted that it was named the World’s Best Airline by Skytrax in 2025 and recently received Cirium’s Platinum performance recognition for operational reliability. Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines was recognised by Cirium as the Asia-Pacific region’s most punctual airline for 2025.
