Oslo Airport: Norwegian now flies directly to Fort Lauderdale, Florida

2013-04-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — Norwegian is launching Fort Lauderdale, Florida as a new destination from Oslo Airport. The new route, which opens 30 November, is an important event for the airport and completely in line with its strategy of becoming a Scandinavian aviation hub.

“This is a good day and an important event for Oslo Airport. The fact that Norwegian is now launching a new long-haul route is completely in line with our strategy, and reinforces our commitment to becoming an attractive hub for Scandinavian aviation. With the new route to Fort Lauderdale, Norwegian will become the airline with the most direct long-haul routes from OSL, and we have high hopes that this will be an attractive offer to Norwegians,” says Managing Director Nic Nilsen.
