New Hampton Inn & Suites Opens in Astoria

87-room property brings Hamptonality to Oregon

ASTORIA, Ore., 2012-09-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hampton Hotels, the global brand of nearly 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Hampton by Hilton hotels, today announced the official opening of its newest property, the 87-room Hampton Inn & Suites Astoria located at 201 39th Street.

The hotel is owned and operated by Pier 38 Marina & RV Park, LLC. It is the first Hampton property in Astoria, ahead of two more Hampton hotels slated to be opened in Oregon in the next two years and more than 250 Hampton properties in the pipeline in the U.S.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Astoria is located in the heart of Astoria, along the south banks of the Columbia River and the north banks of Young’s Bay and just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is also nearby the nationally acclaimed Columbia River Maritime Museum, where guests can experience the maritime history of the region.

Several guestroom suites feature balconies with breathtaking views of the waterfront as well as a refrigerator and microwave, and all guestrooms are equipped with the Clean and Fresh Hampton bedTM, free high-speed internet access, work desk and flat screen TV.
