Cologne, Germany, 2016-Apr-28 — /Travel PR News/ — In order for Lufthansa passengers to arrive relaxed even after longer flights, a new Flyrobic video will be shown on the inflight entertainment program of medium and long-haul flights from June 1, 2016. The five-minute film shows some nifty ways of getting rid of minor twinges and does so with celebrity support. Bayern Munich team members, such as Thomas Müller, Jérôme Boateng or Javi Martinez, will show passengers how to loosen up their muscles on the plane.

The Flyrobic exercises were developed by Lufthansa marketing together with the team under the direction of the company’s medical service, Lothar Zell, who also attended the shoot as an advisor. Kolle Rebbe was responsible for creating the film. To present the fitness element in an entertaining way, Lufthansa’s lead agency staged the action on board in the style of a soccer match.

Under the direction of Horst Czenskowski the Bayern Munich players pair up in various combinations to sit in Lufthansa seats and demonstrate the exercises. Thomas Müller effortlessly loosens up his legs. Jérôme Boateng rotates his shoulders, Rafinha joins Juan Bernat in torso stretching and Javi Martínez rotates his head to relieve stress. Béla Réthy provides the authentic stadium atmosphere. In his inimitable way the sports commentator describes the individual training sessions like the scenes from an exciting soccer match. This turns the sporting subject matter into appealing entertainment that motivates people to take part.

The Flyrobic video is to be presented to the public for the first time today at the Lufthansa stand during the opening ceremony for the satellite terminal at Munich Airport. From June onwards, it will then be included in the inflight entertainment program but also on Lufthansa’s social media channels.

As the official carrier, Lufthansa has been flown the Bayern Munich team to Bundesliga matches, DFB Cup games and to international matches, such as in the Champions League since 2004. Lufthansa is also an official partner of the DFB, the German Olympic Sports Confederation, the National Paralympic Committee and German Sports Aid.
