A German national, Mr Behrens started his career in the hospitality industry at the prestigious Hyatt Regency Cologne in Germany. He has stayed dynamic and passionate throughout his 21-year hospitality career as his journey brought him to China where he has worked in key cities such as Xi’an, Guangzhou as well as Chongqing for Kempinski Hotels. He holds a Master’s Degree of Hospitality. Mr Behrens is innovative and consistent when it comes to his work style, he believes in team work and the philosophy of hospitality. In his new role, he will be leading Kempinski Hotel Chengdu in more success.
