Jazzing It Up At O’Hare and Midway for Labor Day Weekend

CHICAGO, 2012-08-30 — /travelprnews.com/ — If you’re traveling through O’Hare or Midway International Airports over the next two days, be sure to stop by the entertainment stages in the terminals for a preview of this weekend’s Chicago Jazz Festival.

Local jazz bands will entertain passengers tomorrow, August 30 and Friday, August 31 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The entertainment lineup on Thursday includes Ivory Dreams and Soul Therapy at O’Hare, and the John Kattke Band at Midway. The Friday lineup at O’Hare includes Elements of Sound and the Sam Burckhardt Combo, and at Midway, the Bailey Bryson Project will perform.

The entertainment stages at O’Hare are located in Terminal 1 on the lower level baggage claim area near Ciao’s concession; in Terminal 2 past security next to Wicker Park Seafood and Sushi Bar; in Terminal 3 past security near the entrance to Concourse L; and in International Terminal 5 on the lower level meeter/greeter area next to the gift store. At Midway, the stage is in the lower level baggage claim area next to the information booth.

The CDA’s “Music in the Air” entertainment is a year-round program, organized in conjunction with Chicago’s downtown festivals and holiday celebrations.
