Frontier Airlines Announces Service From CVG

Same-Day Connections to 19 Western Destinations

2013-01-28 — /travelprnews.com/ — Frontier Airlines today announced nonstop service from CVG to Denver International Airport.

This new service, with connections to 19 destinations beyond Denver, will begin May 17. Frontier’s first flight from Denver will arrive at CVG the evening of May 16.

“We are proud to offer this additional nonstop connection to Denver and the west coast for our business and leisure passengers in the region,” said Candace S. McGraw, chief executive officer of CVG.

Frontier Airlines is a low-cost airline that operates from a primary hub at Denver International Airport. This new service will operate on spacious 168-seat Airbus 320 aircraft, which offer more customer amenities, including 30 channels of DIRECTV service available at every seat. Flights on Frontier from CVG can be booked at FlyFrontier.com.

To celebrate this new service Frontier is offering introductory fares as low as $99 each way, available for purchase through Feb. 2 at FlyFrontier.com.

“This is a great day for us at Frontier as we provide passengers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region a convenient, low-fare option to the west,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial.

Kenton County Airport Board Chairman James Huff expects the additional service to be welcomed by both business and leisure passengers. “The Board has been working to address the needs of travelers in our three-state region. This new service, combined with our existing flight schedule, demonstrates how we’re looking for new opportunities for both the public and our airline partners.”
