Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita adds new element of luxury to its tropical estate with the impending creation of The Sanctuary Collection

Mauritius, 2015-4-21 — /Travel PR News/ — Mauritius resort to offer new Sanctuary Pool Villa category with panoramic ocean or beachfront views plus a luxurious re-model of the Presidential Suite to create a flexible three to five bedroom Presidential Suite Sanctuary

A picturesque hideaway on the island’s east coast, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is preparing to add a new element of luxury to its tropical estate with the impending creation of The Sanctuary Collection during a short-term closure of the Resort from May 10 to July 31, 2015.

The Sanctuary Collection will comprise six new Sanctuary Pool Villas with ocean or beachfront views and an enhanced three to five bedroom Presidential Suite Sanctuary. Through conversion of existing accommodations, the new categories are designed to offer the ultimate in modern resort luxury and will include extended private infinity pools, the latest in television technology, and a new light, rustic elegance in design.

The Presidential Suite Sanctuary

The current two-bedroom Presidential Suite is situated on the tip of the Resort’s 11 acre (4.5 hectare) private island and boasts panoramic views across the Indian Ocean lagoon, with central access to the secluded Bambou Beach. To enhance the spectacular setting of the Suite, a third bedroom will be constructed as the luxurious master bedroom and as a new feature, the Presidential Suite Sanctuary will allow the opportunity to extend the Presidential complex to up to five bedrooms through a connecting outdoor corridor to the two neighbouring One Bedroom Ocean Pool Villas.

The new ensuite master bedroom will be constructed in an easterly facing direction to offer spectacular sunrise views from the bedroom’s lagoon-front infinity pool, sundeck lounge or even the bed itself. A free-standing natural sandstone bathtub of 1.5 metres (5 feet) diameter will form the focal point of the new master bathroom, while other amenities will include a double vanity, outdoor shower and Acqua di Parma product range.

Sanctuary Pool Villas

The Mauritius Resort will be introducing the category of the Sanctuary Pool Villa in six prime ocean and beach-front locations, each with a heated infinity pool and adjacent terrace, to create a total of two Sanctuary Ocean Pool Villas and four Sanctuary Beach Pool Villas.

Further to the Resort’s existing One Bedroom Pool Villas, the Sanctuary Pool Villas will provide additional indoor space in which to enjoy chic and relaxed comfort in the central location of the Resort’s private island. The Villa’s new lounge will overlook the pool and garden, from where guests may enjoy direct access to the Resort’s beaches or Indian Ocean lagoon. A flat-screen television positioned on a custom-designed mini-bar inclusive cabinet will provide entertainment and refreshment in the lounge, while a spacious sofa may also be used to provide a separate sleeping area for those travelling with a child.

Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita will unveil the new Sanctuary Collection as from August 1, 2015, following a short term closure of the Resort from May 10 to July 31, 2015. To make a reservation for the new luxury accommodations in Mauritius, contact: reservations.mas@fourseasons.com.
