Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach names Federico Giovine as Director of Rooms
Dubai, U.A.E, 2018-Sep-28 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach announces the appointment of Federico Giovine as Director of Rooms effective September 1, 2018. Born in Argentina, Federico is a third generation hotelier, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, uncles and cousins before him.
His Four Seasons Journey began in Buenos Aires in 2005, as overnight PBX operator and from there he worked his way up to Front Office and then on to Night Manager. The first opportunity for international transfer presented itself in the Seychelles in November 2009 as Resort Assistant Manager. In February 2011 he was promoted to Front Desk Manager, where he championed the arrival experience in this beautiful island resort and also worked across many departments to hone his hospitality skills, improve innovation and enhance the day-to-day operations of the Resort. Recognising his efforts, Giovine was promoted to Front Office Manager and was also awarded Manager of the Quarter.
Prague came calling next in September 2013, once again the Front Office operations benefitted from Federico’s innovations and expertise, displaying tangible results in several key performance indicators. Here Federico was also given the chance to lead the Spa operations, delivering the strongest financial results ever for the department. A year later Prague’s ownership announced a brand new spa for the property (AVA Spa), another project that Federico was involved in and his involvement contributed to its success.
In April 2016, Federico was appointed Assistant Director of Rooms at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, taking the lead of the Rooms Division and less than a year later, Federico and his wife Meline were blessed with the arrival of their baby boy Fausto, who was actually born in the Hotel, so there is potential for a fourth generation hotelier within the family.
In July 2017 he was promoted to Director of Rooms, and during his time in Lisbon he has driven arrival and departure scores, created new guest-focused roles within his operations and hit historical records for three consecutive years. Federico has a genuine focus on people development, and countless success stories can be told when it comes to his team and their career progression.
Continuing to combine his love for travel within his role, Federico also had the opportunity take on a task force assignment at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, where he has been based for the last four months supporting on the management transition.
In his new role at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, Giovine’s experience in operational planning, pre-opening strategic support and project management will help guide the Resort’s exceptional guest experience.
