(PRESS RELEASE) Dubai, UAE, 2024-Sep-19 — /Travel PR News/ — Emirates is joining in the Oktoberfest festivities by offering traditional Bavarian cuisine and entertainment on flights to and from Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt, as well as in German airport lounges, from 21 September to 6 October.
Passengers across all classes will be treated to a range of Bavarian-inspired dishes, from starters to desserts. In First and Business Class on flights departing from Dubai, customers can enjoy specialties like roasted beef fillet with braised red cabbage and bread dumplings, and Kaiserschmarren pancakes with plum compote. Economy passengers can savor dishes such as paprika chicken with sautéed potatoes and sauerkraut, finished with honey almond cake. Flights from Germany to Dubai will feature classic dishes like braised veal shank and apple strudel. In the A380 onboard lounge, bite-sized Oktoberfest sandwiches and pretzels will be served, along with gingerbread cookies and Black Forest cake.
Emirates’ airport lounges in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Düsseldorf will also offer Oktoberfest-themed dishes, including Käsepätzle, Sauerbraten, and the must-have pretzels.
To further enhance the Oktoberfest experience, Emirates’ in-flight entertainment will include German films, music, and classic spaghetti westerns beloved in Germany.
Emirates will celebrate Oktoberfest on its triple daily flights to Frankfurt and double daily flights to Munich, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg, allowing customers to experience the spirit of the festival throughout their journey.
