The 900-square-metre lounge, accommodating up to 125 guests, features modern furnishings and offers gourmet “farm-to-table” meals created in partnership with Sussex-based Full Circles Farms. The lounge is open to First and Business Class travelers, as well as Emirates Skywards members.
This new facility marks Emirates’ sixth dedicated lounge in the UK, joining those at London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Manchester. It underscores the airline’s commitment to enhancing the pre-flight experience for its premium customers, with offerings such as elevated dining, complimentary Wi-Fi, and shower facilities.
Located conveniently near the departure gates in Satellite 1, the lounge provides a short 2-3 minute walk to boarding, ensuring a seamless transition from relaxation to flight. Passengers can also enjoy a selection of premium spirits, fine wines, and Moët & Chandon champagnes.
Mohammed Mattar, Divisional Senior Vice President Airport Services at Emirates, highlighted the airline’s investment in Stansted, emphasizing the importance of the UK market to Emirates’ global network. Gareth Powell, Managing Director at Stansted Airport, celebrated the lounge’s opening, noting its luxurious amenities and convenience for travelers using the 14 weekly flights between Stansted and Dubai.
Emirates continues to support trade and tourism in the UK, operating 133 weekly flights to destinations across the country. With its global network spanning over 140 destinations, the new lounge is another step in Emirates’ mission to provide world-class services both in the air and on the ground.
