Dragonair Plans to Resume Operation After Midnight to and from Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo

Hong Kong, 2012-08-08 — /travelprnews.com/ — Dragonair today (Wednesday, 8 August) announced that its flights to and from Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo remain suspended today, but plans are underway for resuming operations on a limited scale after midnight, as well as mounting extra flights in the early hours tomorrow.

The latest flight information is available on the airline’s website, www.dragonair.com. We anticipate disruption and air traffic control delay on 9 August (tomorrow) as airlines work to recover their schedules, so passengers are strongly advised to defer non-essential travel, and check the latest flight information on the airline’s website before going to the airport. To ensure passengers receive the latest flight status updates via SMS or e-mail, they are advised to update contact details in Manage My Booking at the airline’s website.

The airline will waive re-booking and re-routing charges for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on or before 7 August for travel on Dragonair to, from or via Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo between 7 and 10 August.

We will issue further updates once more information becomes available. The airline regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks passengers for their understanding.
