Estes Park Golf Course Celebrates its 100th Season of Golf: Estes Park’s 18-hole golf course will celebrate its 100th anniversary this summer with special events, celebrations and programming throughout the season.

Colorado’s First TPC Course to Open in Berthoud, Summer 2018: Colorado will welcome its first ground-up golf course development in nearly 10 years this summer with the highly anticipated opening of TPC Colorado.  The course, which was designed to accommodate professional tournaments, will feature superb views of the Rocky Mountains, an 18-hole championship course, a beautifully appointed clubhouse and a master-planned residential neighborhood.

U.S. Senior Open at the Broadmoor, July 25 – July 1: The 39th annual U.S. Senior Open will be the eighth USGA Championship contested at the famed Broadmoor Resort, which will also celebrate its centennial in 2018.  Guests can purchase tickets to see golf’s greats ranging from $20 – $249. Children 17 and under will be admitted free the whole week when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Golf Packages & Experiences:

Golf with a Legend at the Broadmoor: The Broadmoor is offering a special “Golf with A Legend” package in celebration of its 100th anniversary, allowing guests to tee up on the famed East Course with professional golfer Hale Irwin. The package includes a three-night golf extravaganza for groups of 12-24 players and includes a practice round on the East and West Courses. It also includes a clinic from The Broadmoor teaching staff, a round of golf with Hale Irwin, dinner at the hotel’s Fish House and more.

Stay, Play & Save at Keystone: Keystone is not only home to two award-winning golf courses, the resort offers nearly endless ways to play in the summer months. Golfers can take advantage of the resort’s Stay, Play and Save package which includes a free round of nine holes on the day of arrival and unlimited same-day play for every round reserved.

Play and Stay in Beaver Creek with Red Sky Golf Club: The luxurious Westin Riverfront is offering a stay-and-play package this season from May to October where visitors are presented with lush overnight accommodations for two and two rounds of golf at Red Sky Ranch. Red Sky Golf Club features premiere signature golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. Packages start at $444 per night.

Notable Courses Across Colorado:

Experience European-Style Play at Ballyneal Golf Club: For an unexpected, and European-style experience, golfers will love Ballyneal Golf Club, a private golf destination built on a unique sand dune formation in the high plains of Eastern Colorado. The club is well known for its minimalist style of play that harkens to the traditions of the game.

Enjoy 27-Holes of Jack Nicklaus-Style Golf at Breckenridge Golf Club: Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this course is nestled below the beautiful Tenmile Range and is a championship course that is set at an elevation of 9,324 ft. It offers golfers views of beaver ponds, native grasses, wetlands, pine, and aspen groves. This mountain course also offers online specials for tee-times for those keen on playing 27-holes or 36-holes on the same day.

Golf the Eisenhower Golf Course at the US Air Force Academy: Located in Colorado Springs, the Eisenhower Golf Course at the US Air Force Academy boasts two outstanding courses at very reasonable rates. The Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed Blue Course stretches to almost 7,500 yards and offers wide fairways and challenging greens. The Silver course is demanding with a premium placed on accuracy rather than length. Eisenhower Golf Course offers golf instruction, golf clinics and a summer junior golf program, all of which are conducted by the PGA staff.

Watch Colorado Wildlife on the Haymaker Golf Course in Steamboat Springs. Haymaker Golf Course is a gem located in the lush, green Yampa Valley of Steamboat Springs. The challenging links-style course is complete with native grasses and wetlands enhancing the wide-open fairways. Created out of vast ranch land and rock piles, Keith Foster built a championship caliber course that elk, eagles, and blue herons call home.

Golf on Colorado’s Highest Elevated Course at Mt. Massive Golf Course: Locals and tourists can golf at America’s highest elevated golf course at 10,152 ft. in Leadville, CO. Mount Massive Golf Course offers 9 holes surrounded by the highest mountains in the state and is near the headwaters of the Arkansas River Valley. The high-elevated course also brings low prices of 9-holes ranging from $15 to $25, with an 18-hole run being only $45.

Traditional Golf at the Olde Course at Loveland: Known as the “Grand Dame” of golf in Loveland, The Olde Course at Loveland is the epitome of traditional golf. Savor Wildflower Vistas at Pole Creek Golf Club in Grand County:  Located just outside of Winter Park, Pole Creek Golf Club is one of the few public 27-hole courses in Colorado. The club offers visitors spectacular views of lush pine and rolling fairways with personalized service and challenging, but eminently playable Tom Lehman and Hurdzan/Fry golf design.

Desert-Style Golf at The Golf Club at Redlands Mesa in Grand Junction: Located at the base of the towering pink and red sandstone face of the Colorado National Monument, the 18-hole Redlands Mesa course offers dramatic vistas, 11 elevated tees, 41 bunkers and unique hole-shaping. Redlands Mesa was ranked the #1 public course in Colorado by Golfweek in 2017.

Shining Mountain Golf Course Offers Scenic View: This hidden gem in Woodland Park was rated by Golf Digest as one of the Top 50 Courses to ‘Play Once in a Lifetime.’ The blue-grass course offers golfers spectacular views on a par-70 course that a golfer of any level can enjoy. With 6,464 yards of serene green, Shining Mountain Golf Course offers views overlooking Pikes Peak.
