“Initially, a single daily service will be operated Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Flights on Wednesdays will commence in September.

“We are confident that this route will prove extremely popular with both inbound and outbound passengers who choose Belfast City Airport due to its close proximity to the city and ease at which passengers can travel through the airport, averaging just six minutes to glide through security.

“With the addition of Liverpool, passengers can now fly to 18 UK destinations from Belfast City Airport, including 12 daily flights to London. This is more domestic connectivity than any other airport in Northern Ireland.”
