MONTREAL, 2013-01-07 — /travelprnews.com/ — A First Nations’ railroad blockade in Marysville, near Kingston, affects the transportation of passengers aboard VIA Rail trains between Toronto/Montreal and Toronto/Ottawa in both directions. There is no definitive timeline when the blockade will be lifted. Delays are to be expected.
VIA Rail’s foremost priority is to ensure that our customers reach their destinations as comfortably and safely as possible. Passengers with itineraries passing through the site of the blockade will be accommodated with bus transportation.
VIA Rail wishes to apologize for any inconvenience this disruption may cause to its passengers.
